IDIOM/SHORT EXPRESSION
Idiom is a phrase which has a meaning different from the meanings of its component part. (Robert J. Dixson, Essential Idioms In English, XI). This explains why an idiom cannot be translated literally from one language to another without some change in its meaning or connotation. Phrase is two-word verbs or combination of two or more words.

The subject can be they, we or you (plural).

to be together.
5. I didn’t / don’t mean to ………………………………. Saya tidak sengaja
to be together.

I am sory : I didn’t mean to hurt your heart.
Sorry, I don’t mean to do that thing to you.

If you want to speak English well, you have to memorize vocabularies at least 10 a day.
